"Wonderful"
The Kernville Inn is a superb property in the centre of town. All amenities are within walking distance. The rooms are large, comfortable and well maintained. Daily housekeeping meant the room was tidied, air-con on, and a lamp illuminated when one returns after a day exploring the Kern Valley.

"Wonderful"
The manager of Kernville Inn was very honest and helpful. I thought that Kernville was at Sequoia national park, while it was 3 hours drive from there. However, the manager of Kernville Inn accepted, at last minute, to change our reservation from two nights to one night, and reimbursed us for one night. The place was nice and clean. There is a good brewery nearby and a very nice river.

It was very close to the little town with places to eat in walking distance. The inn had a nice grassy area perfect for sitting outside with my dogs and listening to the river across the street. There were great hiking trails within a few minutes' drive.

The rooms were mostly first floor with a patio. The room was fairly private and quiet despite being right in front of the cleaning staff laundry area.

Motel-like inn with comfortable rooms (not very large) and nice swimming pool. Bed was confortable and pillows (unlike in most places) were excellent.

Perfect location right in the middle of town. With the comfy outdoor chairs you can either take in the early morning and watch the resident squirrel feeding from the tree box or have a relaxing drink in the evening before you go to bed. Huge rooms with very comfortable beds. Large fridge to keep your drinks cool. Modern bathroom. Solid traditional feel. In close proximity to local microbrewery with great beer and food. All the activities on Kern river in walking distance. Very quiet at night. Staff very helpful and friendly. A place you would always be happy to return to.

Our daughter loves the pool it was great our dog loved it. Close to the stores inconvenient that we went up there for a funeral but s*** happens .
